To save on heating bills, open all blinds and shades to maximize sunlight coming into your
home to heat up the mass within. Stored heat will dissipate once room temperature starts to
drop. Lock all windows to lower heat losses by creating a tight seal. Move furniture away from
windows that block sunlight from entering and away from radiators and baseboards to maximize
air flow for better circulation and more even temperatures around the house. Check and clean
boilers and the water within and adjust boiler tempetures for maximum efficiency.
